Football Game!

フットボールに行った時の観戦の記録。
11月とは思えないほど良い天気で気持ちよかった。
コーネルもコロンビアに勝ちました！

Last Saturday I went to the stadium of Cornell University to watch a football
game. The Big Red, the football team of Cornell University, played a match
against the team of Columbia University.

It was the first time for me to watch a football game. Actually I wasn't
interested in football before my friend invited me to the game. My husband likes
watching football games. When he stayed in Irvine, California, he enjoyed
watching games on TV every weekend. He often recommended me to watch
games. My friends like football too. It was the last home game for Cornell this
year, so I decided to go.

The stadium is so nice. It is maintained very well. There is the symbol of Cornell University in the middle of the court. Before the game, we enjoyed the demon
-stration of marching bands of both Cornell and Columbia. It was a so beautiful
day, although it's usually cold in November in Ithaca.

I didn't know the rule, but my friends gave an explanation to me. I enjoyed
learning the complicated rule. Cornell ended its home slate with a 24-9 victory
over Columbia. Cornell university isn't strong. They won only one this season. But Columbia is weaker than Cornell. They have never win.

I got interested in football a little. The football team of my home university is
strong, so I feel like going to the stadium when I go back to Japan.
