A cello and piano concert

今日はチェロとピアノのコンサートに行ってきた。
秋はコンサートの季節。色々あって楽しい！
コンテンポラリーミュージックを初めて聞いて、衝撃を受けた。

Today I went to a concert of Xak Bjerken (piano) and Elizabeth Lyon (cello) held in the Barnes Hall of Cornell University.
The Department of Music presented it, and it was free!

Mr. Bjerken and Ms. Lyon are members of Cornell University.
The former is a professor and the latter is a first-year PhD. student.

They played Debussy's Sonata for cello and piano, Beethoven's Sonata in C
Major, op.102, no.1, Christopher Stark's Two Depositions, and Brahms's Sonata
No.2 in F Major, op.99.

"Two Depositions" is a contemporary music.
They played the piano and cello with synthesizer.
It was the first time for me to listen to a contemporary music, so I was excited!
