Midori's violin concert

五嶋みどりさんのヴァイオリンコンサートに行ってきた。
一つ一つが考え抜かれた音で、そのパワーに圧倒されました。
感動!!

I went to a Midori's violin concert last Tuesday.

It was held in the Bailey Hall of Cornell University. I bought the second highest
ticket and enjoyed the concert in the first five rows.

Midori Goto is an internationally famous Japanese violinist based in the US.

She played Mozart's Sonata in F Major, K.377, Bloch's "Poeme Mystique", Sonata No.2 for violin and piano, Hindemith's Sonata in E Major, and Faure's Sonata in A Major, Op.13, and Schubert's Rondo brilliant in B minor, D.895.

She played so beautiful music. I have never heard such a sophisticated
performance. She made her debut at the age of 11 in a concert with the New
York Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta. She a truly professional violinist, and I was deeply impressed!
